Rhododendron Lake Nature Park

Situated between Primrose Lane and Lake Drive, this park is easily accessible from White Pine Drive and Laurel Park Highway. It features a variety of facilities, such as a fishing pond, walking paths, and a picnic area with a charcoal grill.

The Park at Flat Rock

The Village of Flat Rock manages this 66-acre park, which features a 1.3-mile trail and an open green space. It also has two playgrounds and a picnic pavilion. The area used to be a golf club, and it is home to various indigenous plants and animals.

Patton Park

Patton Park is Hendersonville's most active park, with various playing fields, an outdoor pool, walking trails, and pavilions available for rent. Public restrooms are also available on a seasonal basis.

Sullivan Park

This park is located in the Green Meadows neighborhood off Ashe Street. It features a playground, picnic tables, and two basketball courts. A connector trail leads from Sullivan Park to the Oklawaha Greenway.

Jump Off Rock

After driving up a mountain road, you'll come across a park with benches, a stone overlook, and various short hiking trails. This area is great for people with mobility issues as it provides them with a similar view of the summit of Mount Pisgah or Cold Mountain.  Bring a blanket, a good book, and your favorite snacks for a picnic!
